For the Nucleus arcade table, we supply as standard in American black walnut, oak or birch ply cradle finish. The table sides are a hi-gloss painted finish and the ends are a black acoustically transparent weave.

American black walnut is a medium-dark wood ranging from milk to dark chocolate in colour. The slightly open grain is generally straight, but can be  wavy.

It’s highly durable and a prized cabinet-making wood.

Oak varies from light tan to biscuit or deep brown, with distinct bands of the wood formed through spring and summer. The grain is usually straight, but irregular or cross grain can occur including some small knots. The growth rings also create attractive features.

Like walnut, oak is extremely durable.

If you’re looking for a lighter finish to match your environment and add some character, then the birch ply is for you. The ply is sandwiched into 3 layers to give rich feature lines  running the entire distance of the table frame without break.

Manufactured from European birch it’s also a very sturdy and stable material.

If you’re after something different, get in contact to tell us your ideas and we can discuss the options.

Like to be in charge of your own hardware? We can supply your arcade table with or without a PC installed. You can see the PC specification currently shipping in the Detail tab.

If you’d like to discuss a custom spec, just drop us an email.

We’ve used Shuttle for our arcade systems for over 6 years as a testament to their reliability.

We recommend and install ESET‘s NOD32 to help keep your table’s OS clean. Available as 1, 2 or 3 year options.

Of course, some things are personal preference. So if you’d prefer an alternative were installed, we can do that for you or leave it up to you.

If you have an existing Sonos setup, we’ll install a Sonos Connect into the storage unit. Then the Nucleus arcade table can join the party with the rest of your Sonos network

If you’re going to be hiding your keyboard, remotes and gamepads away in the table’s storage compartment, you’ll want to see what you’re doing. Select this option to have your storage softly come to life whenever you open the door with the discreetly integrated ice white or cool blue courtesy LEDs.

Click the LED remote, switch off the main lights and settle down for a good gaming session with some adjustable mood lighting.

As well as have your arcade provide the the music for your party, why not have it supply the lighting too? Set to your favourite colour or pattern, have it match your surroundings, or just blend in with your existing LED lighting.

Included is a remote control, which when not in use this can be hidden away in the storage compartment. The RGB LED strip is discreetly installed underneath the unit and can be adjusted to give a dim glow or a bright light when running one of the many colour sequences or simply set to one colour. It’s also functional whether to table is on or off.

The mother of all coffee tables with a hands-on audio-visual experience. Real wood frame, available in solid walnut, solid oak and birch ply as standard, with gloss black side panels. Skillfully produced by our awesome cabinetmaker.

Relive your youth playing all those retro classics, install your own, or hit up Steam to play some great retro-reboots or indie titles.

Let the table discreetly be the centre of attention, playing music from your networked library or online services like Spotify and Napster. Or plug in the HDMI cable and get connected to video services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Movies or YouTube.

The Nucleus control panel pulls out to reveal everything required to re-live your mis-spent youth when it comes to arcade games. Genuine arcade joysticks with access to switch between 4 and 8 way, meaning you can play Pacman and 1942 without compromise. Proper arcade buttons, designed to take a proper bashing from Track & Field. Illuminated trackball – how else do you play Missile Command and Crystal Castles? Plus a spinner for those Tempest and Breakout fans.

What’s more, the control panel doubles up as the mouse control for the Windows environment. But there’s also a wireless keyboard that can stash away in the storage compartment. Everything you need for Internet browsing.

The discreet sound system will not only let you hear every punch, munch and zap. When it comes to music, it’s perfectly positioned to fill your room with sound. The ultimate piece of furniture when you’ve got a few friends over.
