I wish I could tell you this bridge is actually made out of Lego bricks. Wouldn’t that be the best bridge ever if it was? Well, this isn’t quite what it looks like. It’s a bit of an illusion because it’s an old ugly bridge that was painted to look like it was made out of Lego bricks.
Either way, this street art is awesome. I love it. The bridge is 820 feet long, and it took 4 weeks to get all the details just right so it would look like a real Lego bridge.
Painted by street artist Meqx. It’s located in Wuppertal, Germany so if you are ever in that area, please send us some pictures of you there!
The bar for all aquatic animal enclosures has officially been raised thanks to the Super Mario fish tank. This ingenious fish tank is modeled after a level from the original 8-bit classic. The architect of this tank is currently unknown, but what is known is that the tank weighs in at 55 gallons, and that the structures are made from LEGO. It is unconfirmed whether or not the goombas are real.
The design of the Super Mario fish tank is impeccable, save for the fact that the level that the tank is modeled after isn’t one of the game’s underwater ones. Still, this colorful aquarium is sure to appeal to the fish in tanks more than a simple castle and colored rocks ever would.
I am such a huge sucker for Lego and everything about it. I don’t really know why, maybe it’s the child in me that is constantly making itself known. If I had the time, I would sit and build small cities, but those days are long gone unfortunately. I still enjoy seeing what other people are putting together and I love this idea. Star Wars, Lego and chess all combined to make the most awesome-looking chess set I’ve ever seen.
Only problem is I can’t find out where to buy one, maybe I have to start building my own! If anyone out there knows if this set is for sale please let me know.
We could not go another second without telling the entire world that very soon (March in the USA, May in the UK) you will be able to get your very own Lego Moleskine notebooks! These are a special limited edition collaboration between Lego and Moleskine.
Each will have a debossed cover with a different Lego screenprint on it and comes with a matching Lego brick and include a colored bookmark ribbon, themed flyleaf and an inner pocket in colored fabric. It comes with Lego themed adhesive labels and will be available in different sizes and in plain or ruled pages.
Most of your notes and lists are now taken using your mobile phone or tablet, but there’s no substitute for the real thing and Moleskine do it very well.
Available for pre-order from Amazon at reduced prices from £9.18 – £11.55
This can only make you the envy of your mates when you wheel your gas BBQ out. After being accused of cheating for using gas that is. But once the shouts have died down and they see what’s fuelling your meat-heater, they’ll soon want their raw goods on your grill.
1. Take one stubby propane tank. Thoroughly clean and de-grease it.
2. Paint it yellow.
3. Paint the facial features 🙂
This Instructables guide originated in Australia where you can take your gas bottle for refilling. Check before decorating your own as you wouldn’t want all of your hard work to go to waste when you have to exchange it for another bland silver one!
See the Instructables guide for more info. Thanks Idedvovo, this is going straight to the top of my to-do list in the not-too-important section.
